Police have named a man who appeared in court today following an incident at the Golden Lion pub in Wrington, North Somerset.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said:
“A 51-year-old man is to appear at North Somerset Magistrates Court charged with a firearms offence. Keith Hayward of Lyecross Road, Redhill has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
“This followed an incident at the Gold Lion public house in Broad Street, Wrington on Sunday evening.
“A 48-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assault on the same evening has been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.”
